Château de Valloubière
The wines of Chateau de Valloubiere are
among the top wines of the Languedoc and "The terraces of Larzac"
which are located in the center-north region of Hérault.
This
area enjoys the spring and autumn rain seasons typical of a
Mediterranean climate which is unaffected by the sea's
proximity.
Thyme, aspic, rosemary,
sage, and summer savory grow wild in the warm, chalky scrubland.
There, parsley, dill and fennel flourish in the cool, permeable
soil.
The Languedoc's fragrant land surrounds the vineyards
with the aromas of saffron and clove, anise and juniper.
Rose
and White wines have been maturing six months in the wine
cellar, the Red wine during 24 months and the Grande Reserve Red
Wine 30 months in the wine cellar, including a minimum of 26
months in oak barrels.
